Line 5 Eglinton is now open.
The 19-kilometre (12 mile) Light Rail Transit line provides a new east to west link across one of the most populated areas of Toronto, ON.
In partnership with the CTS Consortium, NORR designed three of the 25 stations as part of the Design, Build, Finance, Maintain (DBFM) delivery. The three fully accessible stations include: Caledonia (providing access to Light Rail Vehicles via a platform level located at approximately 22 meters, or 72 feet, below grade); Mount Pleasant (below grade construction and reconstruction of a century-old landmark building, the former Imperial Bank); and Cedarvale (a below grade interchange station with TTC’s Line 1).
