Engineering is a vital practice at NORR and continues to strengthen how our multidisciplinary teams solve complex design challenges.
Today, we are passing the torch of Vice President, Engineering Operations, North America, from our long-serving leader Chris Pal to Salil Ranadive, a respected engineer and trusted colleague in our family. Having worked closely together for years, they have built a strong foundation across our structural, electrical, and mechanical teams — one rooted in shared knowledge, strong relationships, and proven leadership. This transition reflects more than succession planning; it signals confidence in the future.
Salil brings more than 35 years of experience in consulting, operations, and hands-on engineering roles. He leads traditional, alternative, and collaborative delivery models, with a strong understanding of how each approach influences team structure, decision-making, and project success. His promotion builds on the work he is already managing with clients and teams across our sectors.
Chris will be staying on in a consulting capacity through the transition before his planned retirement. His story at NORR will forever be one of championing large-scale, complex domestic and international projects, including Dubai. We are deeply grateful to Chris for his dedication to the firm, the teams he has inspired, and the lasting contribution he has made to our engineering practice.
