Steak 48 is an upscale steakhouse brand that pairs a contemporary aesthetic with a hospitality experience centered on premium dining, creating memorable destinations in Chicago, Houston, and Philadelphia.

Challenge
Expanding the Steak 48 brand required a design approach that could be applied across multiple locations while accommodating the specialized operational requirements that define the dining experience. Each restaurant also needed to maintain an intimate atmosphere despite its large footprint and diverse program elements.
Solution
Our design creates sleek exteriors and vibrant interiors organized around a series of distinct dining spaces. Signature features include a glass-walled kitchen and raw bar, an in-house butcher shop maintained at 40 degrees Fahrenheit, an 1,800-degree broiler, and a 3,000-bottle wine vault, integrated as visible elements of the guest experience.
Outcome
The resulting restaurants balance contemporary design with the warmth and familiarity of a traditional steakhouse. By showcasing food preparation, premium ingredients, and curated dining environments, each location delivers a distinctive experience while reinforcing the Steak 48 brand identity.
